Abstract

The thesis deals with insulating systems of DC ( direct-current ) electric motors, their theoretical analysis, their type of construction and affecting degrading factors. The right choice of insulating materials and technologic processes is important for their subsequent use in an electric unit and has an influence on the whole insulating system of the unit and subsequently on its performance and load. It also enables to prevent the failures caused by negative effects. The aim of the thesis was to analyse and design an insulating system of the suspended motor in thermal class of 180 ( H ) using new materials and technologies. Another task was to confirm and prove error liability and diagnose influences on the original insulating system of the DC suspended electric motor.
