Abstract
This bachelor thesis is devoted to the theme of automatic detection of optical nerve area. Thesis includes brief introduction of eye anathomy and complex research about the illness rethinopathy of prematurity. Next part of the bachelor thesis is dedicated to complex research of the methodes which can be used for a deteciton of optical nerv area on a retina. The main part of this thesis is dedicated to proposed algorithm for automatic detction of optical nerv area on the images acquired by RetCam3 system. Each step of the proposed algorithm is described in details in the following text. The algorithm has been tested on 120 retinal images and outcome of the detection has been evaluated in conclusion.
