Abstract

This bachelor thesis focuses on the topic of Pink Collar Crime in the Czech Republic. In the theoretical part, it focuses on and addresses the distinction from other types of crime, while also looking at the causes and manifestations of this crime. It describes the social characteristics and specifics of female offenders that are associated with this type of crime. It looks at the relationship with economic and financial crime and how to prevent this crime, i.e. prevention and then re-socialisation of female offenders. The thesis provides statistics on how many women commit these offences in the Czech Republic. It lists the legislative aspects that deal with this issue. In the practical part, general case studies and subsequent interviews with people working as accountants in various companies.
