Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with verification of possibilities of alkali substitution from alkaline silicates and following reduction of secondary (residual) strength and thereby improving the disintegration of the water glass molding mixtures, while the mixture is being hardened by the CO2 process, ST mixtures by liquid hardeners (esters) and microwave hardening. The thesis is divided into two parts (theoretical and practical), where in the first part there are discussed the binder systems of forming mixtures of the II. generation on an inorganic basis and previously mentioned water glass hardening technology. The second part includes the following verification of the modified alkaline silicates and the determination of their secondary strengths.
