Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with the problem of product aggregation and its aim is to describe the design and implementation of tools for gathering information about products from online stores. The theoretical part provides a basic description of existing services and their impact on online shopping. There are also described methods of transmission and processing of data files from online stores. The practical part contains data and functional analysis, design implementation and implementation of Java applications including a description of methods for product gathering and pairing. The last part deals with the testing system and the possibilities of further extensions.
