Abstract

The topic of this thesis is the application of the process management in the business bank. The business bank wished to remain anonymous and for this reason it is referred to as business bank X or company X. The aim of the work was to create a turtle diagram and threads that visualize and describe processes that employees will come into contact with. The first chapter is an introduction, which is a summary of banking in the Czech Republic, explains its growth and new trends that are nowadays in the banking sector. It further defines the objective and subject matter that has been defined for the purpose of the work. The second chapter focuses on the methodology and methods of processing the thesis. The chapter focuses on the Turtle Diagram, explains what it is used for, what its strength lies, what parts it consists of and what it means. It also describes the way to achieve the information and data used in the thesis. The third chapter is devoted to theoretical content. The theoretical part includes concepts such as processes, process management, process standardization and more. Organizational culture, organizational structure and management style are also defined. The fourth chapter describes the organization for which the thesis is processed. The description focuses on the introduction of Business Bank X, explains the best selling products, explains the organizational structure and more. The fifth chapter is for applying the Turtle Diagram. Furthermore, the processes are subdivided into threads. These activities have significantly helped to achieve the goal of work. The sixth chapter summarizes the results that have been used in the creation of recommendations and proposals for the business bank X.
