Činnost a hospodaření obce v oblasti veřejného osvětlení

Abstract

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate activities and management of Statutory City of Ostrava in the area of public lighting. We wish to suggest solutions based on this evaluation that would lead to to an improvement in public lighting sphere. Is The thesis shows that the city funds regular and scheduled maintenance insufficiently. Further, it is discovered that the amount of investments is continuously decreasing. Due to the lack of monetary resources, the situation comes to such point that most of the public lighting in the city exceeds its lifetime period every year.
