Analýza neshodnosti výroby odlitků z litin s kuličkovým grafitem

Abstract

The work analyzes in detail the discrepancy in the production of a truck brake caliper casting, cast from cast iron with spheroidal graphite. The whole production process was analyzed. For a detailed analysis of the non-conformity of production batches of castings, an accurate description of the occurrence of defects on castings, thermal analysis, chemical analyzes and the procedure of metallurgical processing of cast iron before casting were used. The evaluated types of defects were related to the recorded eutectic temperatures, casting temperatures and casting times as well as the method of inoculating cast iron with spheroidal graphite.
