Abstract

The meaning of this work is to describe issues of synthetic fuels production, which are potentional alternative of conventional fuels to reader. Conventional fuels are non - ecological due to strong emissions during combustion not only in vehicles. Next problem is limited reserves of oil, which is important for fuel production. Accordingly with new ecological targets the interest in alternative fuels which are more environmental - friendly rises. Simultaneously runs development of other technologies (e.g. batteries or fuel cells). Although new progresses this variants have disadvantages like price, safety or unpreparedness of countries which include missing infrastructure for filling energy to power units. On the other hand, synthetic fuels require only little adjustments of this.
