Studie optimalizace návrhu FTTH infrastruktury pro oblast městské zástavby

Abstract

This diploma thesis, the topic of which is "Study of optimization of FTTH infrastructure design for urban development", deals with the design, analysis and optimization of part of urban development in a densely populated part of Ostrava with emphasis on FTTH type of infrastructure. The main goal of this diploma thesis was to design the least financially demanding secondary network infrastructure. This has been achieved by using various combinations of microtubes and associated optical microcables. Part of the work is also the use of OptiWave OptiSystem to simulate part of the designed network. The result of this study is the finding that it is financially more advantageous to use one high-capacity microfiber for a building than a combination of several low-capacity microcables.
