Rozvoj cestovního ruchu na území Novojičínska

Abstract

This diploma thesis deals with a development of tourism in the area of Novojičínsko. The main goal of thesis is to evaluate a development of Novojičínsko in the area of tourism and possible suggestions and recommendation for the future development. The theoretical part introduces to a reader the definition of tourism, describes the market, supply, demand and services in tourism, a relation between tourism and the regional development and financial possibilities. It also describes the potential of Novojičínsko in tourism. The practical part contains an overview of implemented and elaborated projects funded by EU and evaluates their assets. Another part of the chapter shows the evolution of attendance and after comes a marketing research. The end of a chapter offers suggestions and recommendation for the future development of Novojičínsko in the area of tourism.
