Abstract

The bachelor thesis is focused on the mining of gold, the mining effect on mine water and the use of mine water.This thesis consists of four parts, where the first part describes gold mining in the world and in the Czech Republic. In the second part, Zlate Hory, a city with long-term mining activities, characterized. The next section describes how gold is extracted from mined ore, including its impact on mine water. The last part focuses on the use of mine water after gold mining in the world and how these experience could be used in the town of Zlate Hory.
