Abstract

The goal of this work is analysis of weld of 18Cr/10Ni steel and titanium of commercial purity. The weld was made by explosive welding and then was demoted by hydrogen embrittlement in H2S. In theoretical part are described materials which are welded, types of welding, especially explosive welding. The theoretical part is followed by a practical part, where is analyzed by optical microscopy weld area, which was damaged by hydrogen corrosion. Furthermore, is according to the NACE standard calculated level of hydrogen corrosion. SSC test was also done. At the end of this work is evaluated resistance of the weld against hydrogen embrittlement.
