Abstract
The main target of this bachelor thesis is to take into account all aspects and factors related to the media, which make their contents at the time of digitization and the Internet. And to point out to the changes that occurred in comparison with traditional media. The second chapter describes basic terms and definitions related to the main topic. And definition of the relationship of traditional media to new media, which are based on digital technology. Chapter three provides a historical overview on the development of online publishing in the Czech republic and the rest of the world. It deals with advertising on the internet and business models that are currently applied and ethical problem areas that appear on the Internet. In the last part follows the conclusion, which summarizes all the found information.
