Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to provide a compact view on the issue of public law contracts in the currently applicable laws and regulations and to outline their position in the legal system of the Czech Republic. The thesis is divided into chapters of four major chapters, which are further divided into smaller subsections. The first chapter deals with public administration in general. The second chapter defines the public law contracts and deals with the kinds of public law contracts. The third chapter is devoted to the procedural aspect of public law contracts. The fourth chapter is the practical part and there is analyzed the control of public administration and the results of the evaluation report of the Ministry of Interior. Public law contracts are an alternative to issuing authoritative legal acts and are a manifestation of democratic governance. The municipalities frequently use the opportunity to enter into some type of public contracts and transfer part of its delegation to another village.
