Abstract
The thesis is structured into several parts. The first part of the thesis is devoted to the theoretical part. In this part, the main asynchronous motor faults and their possible causes are described. The next content is devoted to the problems of asynchronous motor diagnostics and analysis of selected methods that can be an important factor in the use in diagnostics, in the design of the asynchronous motor itself and in the solution of the asynchronous motor. The selected methods are mainly focused on the online methods that are used for asynchronous motor diagnostics. Their main advantages include ease of implementation and above all non-invasiveness. These are the scattered field method from a coil placed in the axial direction and frequency analysis of the stator current. These methods are being improved and are subject to further development. The most important and essential part of the thesis is the measurement of an asynchronous motor without faults and then with defined and undefined faults. The analysis of the individual measurements is divided into several parts.
