Abstract

Diploma thesis “Enterpreneurship Support in a Given Business Environment” deals with enterpreneurship support of small and medium entrepreneurs in a Zlin region. The entrepreneurs can draw the support from the European Union funds or from the state budget. By this financial support, businesses can be developed and made more efficient. The aim of diploma thesis is to assess the knowledge and experiences of businesses with enterpreneurship support in Zlin region. The work is divided into six chapters. The first chapter contains an outline of the work. The second chapter describes the programmes renowned in frame of programming period 2007 – 2013, the institutions engages in enterpreneurship support and theoretic survey of methods, which are used lately in the part of analysis. The characterization of the business environment – Zlin region, is presented in the third chapter. In the fourth chapter, there are elaborated the methods - PEST analysis and SWOT analysis of Zlin region, the method of question – form between entrepreneurs, the point scale, and couple comparison of regions. The fifth chapter deals the proposals and recommendations, above all it means the participation of entrepreneurs in debates and seminars, the taking part in innovation enterprise, better cooperation with other communities and towns, and the usage of the operational programmes, included in Business and Innovations – above all the programmes Progres and Záruka. In frame of regions, there is Region programme which is recommended. The sixth chapter contains a conclusion of diploma thesis.
