Abstract

GLOVŇA, Vladimír. Verification of Regular Professional Training for Members of FRC Units of the Moravian-Silesian Region. Ostrava, 2017 109 p. Diploma thesis. Faculty of Safety Engineering, VSB - Technical University of Ostrava. The following Master’s Thesis discusses a proposal for suitable methodology that would provide validation of systematic professional training of the members of FRC Units of the Moravian-Silesian Region and hence thereby lead to the removal of rather spasmodic studying of firefighters instead of preferred systematic professional training over the course of the year. The Thesis analyses current state of professional training as well as ways of its validation. Furthermore, the Thesis describes firefighters’ tendency towards spasmodic studying and subsequent revision necessary for storing information in long-term memory. The crux of the Master’s Thesis lies in the comparison between forms of validation of professional training in Czech Republic and abroad. The Master’s Thesis also proposes application of E-learning as one of the teaching concepts that brings about many advantages in comparison to alternative concepts of teaching. Closing part of the Thesis is focused on suggestions and possible solutions based on ascertained information.
