Abstract

The goal of this master‘s thesis is to evaluate the proces of coaching approach implementation in managerial practise of the selected organization based on survey and than make suitable suggestions to improve this proces. There are definitions of the terms coaching and coach in a thoretical part. It includes a brief history of coaching, types, models and instruments of coaching. The conclusion of this part deals with managerial styles, company and organizational culture which could influence the coaching proces. The following part is engaged on the analysis of the company’s present coaching approach. The coaching training which the company’s managers participated in is described there as well as the analysis of survey result which was realised among managers (i.e. internal coaches) and their subordinates. The survey tried to detect a consensus of the opinion of both groups. Finaly the questionnaire elicited the most popular and prefered situations when the managers use coaching approach and what they are willing to do to improve the coaching proces.
