Abstract
This bachelor's thesis describes the photodegradation of selected pharmaceutical preparations from water. Photocatalysts based on graphitic carbon nitride and its exfoliated form were added to the photodegradation. The photocatalysts were characterized by basic methods, which were X-ray diffraction analysis, infrared spectroscopy, elemental analysis, nitrogen physisorption, scanning electron microscopy, photoluminescence and UV-VIS spectroscopy. Photocatalysis was applied to three drugs, namely ofloxacin, caffeine and diclofenac. Each of these substances decomposed differently and also the different forms of photocatalysts that were used had a different resulting degradation process.
