Abstract

Bachelor’s thesis deals with a project documentation of a multi-purpose building placed on a square in Slezská Ostrava. This project is based on a previous building study from Architecture Design Studio III and IV. Building is a part of a complex of several buildings interconnected with underground parking garage. The first floor has a sheltered public space, public toilets and a confectionery store, on the second floor there’s a great hall and the third floor offers multi-functional spaces. The construction consists of monolithic reinforced concrete structure and sand-lime bricks mostly plastered, except the parts with facing bricks and with metal cladding.
