Abstract

The aim of the thesis is to propose the revitalization of part of the artificially created water works of the Podkrušnohorský water feeder. The solved part is located in the intravilan of the village jirkov. By revitalizing part of the concrete trough, it will transform into a nature close to the state. The watercourses will continue to perform its main function, which is the protection of surface mines and the supply of industry in the North Bohemian brown coal basin. At the same time, the revitalized part will also perform the function of recreational-relaxing and aesthetic. In this work we will get acquainted with the general principles of revitalization of watercourses, the history of the construction of the Podkrušnohorský feeder and its purpose and activities and the design of revitalization.
