Abstract

The aim of this work is the analysis of the current status of the areas corporate culture GalvanKo Ltd., which is related to its competitiveness. Within the overall assessment of the state of corporate culture are then submitted proposals and recommendations for each area, so as to improve the status of organizational culture and increase its potential to stimulate higher organizational performance. The work includes theoretical definition of basic concepts such as culture, corporate culture, corporate culture elements, the strength of corporate culture, the relationship of corporate culture and performance and models of corporate culture. There is also defined Denison´s model, which is the starting point of the practical part of this work. The practical part deals with the characteristics of the selected company and the actual survey conducted using a formal questionnaire DOCS ("Denison Organizational Culture Survey"). On the basis of the tabular and graphical results is constructed Denison´s model. Company management GalvanKo Ltd., are submitted proposals and recommendations for enhancing the current state of their corporate culture.
