Abstract

This bachelor’s thesis deals with the design and implementation of an interactive tool for proof construction in propositional logic using equivalence transformations. The aim of the thesis was to create a web application that allows users to work step by step with formulas and arguments and provides feedback during the solving process. The application converts the input into an internal tree representation, while arguments are first transformed into a formula suitable for further transformations. Using this representation, the system finds or verifies supported equivalence laws. Users can work in a guided mode, where the system suggests possible transformations, or in a step- checking mode, where the system verifies a transformation provided by the user. The result of the thesis is a functional web application supporting interactive practice of equivalence transformations in propositional logic.
