Řízení snižování uhlíkové stopy v podnicích Moravskolezského kraje

Abstract

The ever-increasing amount of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere is having an adverse impact on the environment, causing global warming and related adverse effects. One of the most important greenhouse gases is carbon dioxide and its production is also perceived as a carbon footprint. The main impetus for initiating research on this issue is the existence of many approaches to reducing the carbon footprint and, especially for SMEs, it is challenging to navigate them. Based on this fact, I have created a classification of seven groups of methods that are suitable and applicable in all types of different enterprises within the framework of simplification. The present dissertation is aimed at finding the tools that will lead to emission reduction and identifying the barriers that prevent companies from adopting low-carbon technologies. Subsequently, a comprehensive model for recommending appropriate methods for reducing the carbon footprint is constructed and used in software form by businesses to address the optimal approach.
