Posouzení výskytu syndromu vyhoření ve vybrané organizaci

Abstract

The diploma thesis deals with the occurrence of burnout syndrome in a selected organization. The aim of the thesis was to determine the incidence of burnout syndrome using two questionnaire surveys. The research was conducted at a secondary school of technical professions in Olomouc. The thesis is divided into two parts. The first part focuses on the methods and methodology of the research, followed by the theoretical background based on professional literature and available data. In the second part, the theoretical knowledge is applied in practice, including two questionnaire surveys and the testing of statistical hypotheses. The results of the first Burnout Measure questionnaire showed a satisfactory level of burnout syndrome. In contrast, the findings of the second, self-designed questionnaire were slightly worse. Areas identified included working conditions, workload, high levels of administrative tasks, increased stress, fatigue, exhaustion, as well as collaboration with colleagues or students. Within the self-designed questionnaire survey, hypotheses related to gender, symptoms of burnout syndrome, and considerations of a career change were tested. The results of both hypotheses indicated that no dependence was proven in either case. Based on the results of the questionnaire surveys, the organization should focus on specific problematic areas as part of preventing the emergence and increase of burnout syndrome. These areas are presented in the recommendations, which may help improve the situation for both the organization and its employees.
