Abstract

The doctoral dissertation considers each selected method of mining deposits. From the wide range of quarries in my work I focused mainly on deposit in the Czech Republic - quarry Podhorní Újezd of extraction of sandstone, bearing quarry in Italy Carrara marble mining and bearing in Croatia kanfanar quarry where limestone mined. Quarry Podhorní Újezd was chosen deliberately because it is our most active mining quarry sandstone . This quarry I personally visited and practiced practice. Quarry in Italy and Croatia , I also had the opportunity to visit and learn about how the process of conquest, but also with the environment in which these activities are carried out . By understanding the management of these companies , I have gained a lot of valuable knowledge that can be considered important for my doctoral dissertation , one could say that it can also be considered for certain know - how listed companies. This way I can compare the findings from abroad and organizations with similar activities in the country. The main point of the doctoral dissertation , the economic aspects of mining - especially mining costs 1 m3 and their assessment and comparison. Finally doctoral dissertation will determine the fracture with the highest costs of extraction and, finally, propose solutions to reduce these costs. These findings may thus significantly contribute to a more effective way of conquering a wider range of candidates .
