Abstract

The aim of this thesis is to analyze the financial performance of the pharmaceutical company. The thesis is divided into five sections, including introduction and conclusion. The theoretical part deals with characteristics of business performance through economic value added, a description of financial ratios financial analysis, bonits and bankruptcy models and pyramid decomposition of ROE and EVA. The third part is devoted to financial analysis, where are the calculations of financial ratios, horizontal and vertical analysis, pyramid decomposition of ROE, the summary of the characteristics and determination of the economic value added, which is important for owners of company. The fourth part deals with evaluating the overall financial performance based on which it is found their financial situation. The enterprise proved to be financially weak and unstable.
