The Bachelor thesis focuses on measures of population protection during a special flood in the municipality Senica. The theoretical part is devoted to the description of the town Senica and the occurrence of emergencies in this area. The analytical part of the thesis describes a special flood and its consequences in Senica, the analysis of suitable methods and then the application of selected method. The conclusion of the analytical part is devoted to the analysis of existing measures of population protection from the forces and means with a focus on preventive and repressive measures point of view. The proposal part defines the identified deficiencies and proposes measures to ensure the protection of the population in Senica.
