Role a význam železničních dopravců v regionální dopravě

Abstract

The Baccalaureate thesis is focused on personal railway regional transport since the change of the train schedule in 2019. In the Baccalaureate thesis there is introduced the history, development and financing of the railway in the Czech Republic. The main content is focused on carriers which arrange the regional transport in the Czech Republic. It is about carriers arranging regular passenger transport and also about carriers arranging passenger transport only by weekend or historical nostalgic trains. With each carrier there is a graphical representation of their total employee number and their wages cost. Further the Baccalaureate thesis represents all regions in the Czech republic and for each region there is an assigned carrier, or carriers, each region have chosen to arrange regional railway transport since the change of graphical timetable within the region’s perimeter. The Baccalaureate thesis is supposed to adumbrate the situation that has arisen since December in 2019 due to handing over regions‘ competence to order the regional transport. The final part of thesis presents the views of a few specialists and passengers who has different opinions on the situation.
