Abstract

Theoretical parts deals with the problem of power supply and operation of industrial networks. It describes options of solutions, configuration requirements for distribution systems. The following section defines the rules and procedure of calculating the minimum and maximum short-circuit currents, determines formula for the determinations of impedance of the individual elements and short-circuit currents according to EN 60909-0. Practical part of thesis solves the calculation of minimum and maximum three-phase short-circuit current at all substation HV of an industrial company and includes checking short-circuit resistance and cable control due to warming during the short circuit.
