Abstract

The thesis deals with social and economic disparities within the ASEAN community. The main aim is to assess development, economic and social possibilities and economic diversity of the group "Association of Southeast Asian Nations“. Chapters: general characteristics of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations, social disparities within ASEAN integration and opportunity for economic development of its members. Macro-region of Southeast Asia is an area of major differences. There are not only countries with high living standards but also countries with low living standards.
