The first part contains essential information, where in addition to a briefly described history of the locality, are characterized the basic legislative requirements and selected standards related to the issue, including the chapter on measuring dust in the workplace, which is closely related to the legislation. The diploma thesis describes the types of dust particles and their effect on the human body and the environment.

Furthermore, the current anti-dust measures used on Bilina Mines are described here. This area is directly connected to the main part, which describes possible ways how to make the current system of anti-dust measures efficient by enriching the current methodology with new solutions, especially covering the granary on a large machine K2000, periodic cleaning with pressurized water and making the system of sprinkling problematic areas efficient by using mine water and nozzles manufactured by KRÄNZLE.
