Abstract

The thesis focuses on the analysis of the actual state of waste management of a selected company, with the main focus on its two production facilities. For the purpose of the analysis data extracted from the annual mandatory reports on production and waste management were used. These dates provide a detailed overview of the composition and quantity of waste and the waste management practices at each factory. The results of the analysis are used as a background for the development of the optimisation of the waste management of the company. The proposed measures are focused on streamlining waste management processes, reducing waste production and ensuring compliance with legislative requirements and the principles of sustainable development.
