Diploma thesis describes detection of Cystatin C from samples and comparison with
another analytical method for detection of Cystatin C. In individual chapters is described
light, properties of light, the SPR method itself, use of the SPR and the last part is focused
on experimental measurement. In this part is described device for measurement and its
individual parts, biosenzor, preparation for measurement, measurement results and
evaluation of results. Two measurements were performed. First measurement was carried
out for the purpose of Cystatin C detection in 20 samples. Second measurement was carried
out for the purpose of comparison with another analytical method. Results are summarized at the end of the work. A part of the results is accepted to publish in journal BioTechniques
with impact factor 1,541.
