Abstract

This thesis describes running of welding workplace of small locksmith organization. It discusses safety measures when welding metals in a protective atmosphere of carbon dioxide by a consumable electrode and welding in an inert gas atmosphere by a non-consumable electrode. It sets reasonable measures based on the risk analysis of welding workplace in order to ensure that minimum safety requirements are met. At the same time, it deals with the overall economic evaluation and financial burden that are associated with employing appropriate safety measures. The thesis also includes a project that designs the adequate distribution of technical equipment and adaptations of locksmith workshop considering safety and health at work.
