Porovnání tlumičů a lineárních kompenzátorů z hlediska velikosti akustických projevů při výstřelu

Abstract

KOSEK, Jan. Evaluation and comparison of the ballistic resistance of additional plates of protective vests. [Diplomatic thesis] Ostrava: VŠB – Technical University of Ostrava, Faculty of Safety Engineering, 2026, 90 pages. The diploma thesis deals with the comparison of silencers and linear compensators in terms of the size of acoustic manifestations during a shot. The theoretical part contains concepts from Act No. 90/2024, Coll. It then deals with supersonic and subsonic ammunition. In this part we will also find an explanation of how sound propagates through space, how it affects the human body and what a sonic boom is. There is also a description of weapons, ammunition and equipment used for shooting. In the practical part, tests were carried out with individual weapons, ammunition and equipment. The results of all measurements are documented photographically and recorded in tables. The final part of the thesis focuses on the evaluation of the entire experiment and the comparison of all equipment is provided.
