Problematika komunálního odpadu na Ostravsku

Abstract

Doctoral thesis focuses on dilemma of dealing with municipal waste in Ostrava region. The theoretical part presents problems of waste management, introduction of basic structure and basic conceptions used in terms of waste management in the Czech Republic. Thereafter the thesis focuses on analyzing waste disposal. The economical connection including local payments for waste disposal in Ostrava is also being emphasized. The final chapter includes elaborated synthesis of obtained facts with use of SWOT analysis, with the purpose to provide recommendation for optimal usage of instruments which support exploitation of municipal waste and for exercise of each method used to treat municipal waste in within the terms of waste management in Ostrava.
