Abstract

This thesis is focused on issues of antilock braking systems ABS in electric vehicles. It contains the description of functional and constructional solutions of these systems for vehicles with internal combustion engines. It deals with basic physical principles on which ABS system is based and it also describes braking principles of electric vehicles. The main part of this thesis is design and description of the specific solution of ABS system for electric vehicle and creation of mathematical model for the entire system. Results of the simulations are overally presented in the conclusion part.
