Speech Emotion Recognition

Abstract

Due to its potential use in areas including human-computer interaction, mental health monitoring, and customer assistance, speech emotion recognition (SER) has drawn a lot of attention recently. The purpose of this thesis is to explore and assess various SER approaches, implement chosen algorithms, and empirically test the effectiveness of these approaches on relevant datasets. We’ll evaluate the effectiveness of the developed algorithms and examine the function that facial expressions play in emotion recognition.
