Návrh rozšíření kaolínového lomu Osmosa

Abstract

This thesis addresses the extension of the quarry Osmosa. The company Sedlecký kaolin a.s. are planning to exploit the remaining reserves of kaolin, which were previously bound in protective pillars, currently disused, railway sidings and former warehouse complex. The work briefly describes the history of mining in the quarry Osmosa, geological deposit conditions, the current state of mining technology, mechanization used and the legislative process relating to the extension of the quarry. The work also addresses the determination of the amount ofoverlying rocks, which must be excavated and deposited at a dump. The finalchapter assesses the technical and economic indicators of the proposed solution.
