Abstract

This thesis focuses on the design of a new use of an agricultural building and its surroundings in the Opava region. The work is divided into two parts - theoretical and practical. The theoretical part consists of a basic characterization of the area, introduction to its natural conditions and a detailed analysis of the area of interest on a broader and narrower scale, including a detailed survey and documentation of the selected building. The information obtained from these parts is then implemented in the practical part. This design section focuses on both the regeneration of the brownfield site itself and the regeneration of its immediate surroundings, as well as the funding options for this project.
