Abstract
My bachelor thesis examines the methods of measuring the shaft speed and also deals with the simulation program LabVIEW, in which I created a program for evaluating the speed according to the incoming data from the sensors. In the introduction, I describe how to use LabVIEW and its many benefits. Then I describe the basic division of speed sensors and give examples of their use in practice.
In the practical part I deal with the evaluation of the measured signal from the rotary encoder on the measuring card by two principles. By measuring the period and frequency. For both methods, I explain the origin and solution of the synchronization error of the counter and calculate their intersection when determining the speed limit. The practical part is supplemented by calculations, graphs, but also diagrams directly from the LabVIEW. I also describe the used components such as measuring card, sensor and motor.
