Abstract
The purpose of this thesis is to describe and analyze European Union tourism and regional development funding in Eastern Moravia. The thesis is composed of five main parts. First Part sets goals of the thesis. Part two deals with regional development and tourism funding in European Union. Third part describes European Union funded projects in micro region Rožnovsko and Community association Valašsko - Horní Vsacko. Part four is concerned with one concrete project – modernization of SKI center Javorníky Kohútka, including questionnaire survey. Conclusions are drawn at the end of the thesis.
