Abstract
This Bachelor deals with the optimization of cooling technology case-hardening steel after wire rod mill modernization in TŽ a.s. These issues were selected steel code 16MnCrS5. For matched samples was found that the existing technology has been unsuitable and therefore proposed a new technology, which has been shown significant improvement in the mechanical and structural properties of the steel.
