Abstract
This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of small-scale gold mining globally
and within the Czech Republic. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the actual yield based on field research and to develop a theoretical economic model of manual gold panning.The results demonstrate that this activity is financially inefficient under domestic conditions and strictly illegal under current mining legislation.
