Abstract
The work is focused on the study of the influence of oxygen activity before steel tapping from the oxygen converter to the final steel microcleanness. Furthermore, the work deals with the explanation of basic oxidation processes during steel production in the LD oxygen converter, possibilities of deoxidation of steel and its influence on the amount of non-metallic oxidic inclusions deteriorating the microcleanness of steel.
