Abstract
Refractory linings are often exposed to rapid temperature fluctuations. Due to these temperature differences occur in the structure of the material to high mechanical stress, which often leads to failure of the lining. An important measure against failure resistant refractory lining is the usage of refractory concrete resistant against sudden temperature changes. Its quality depends on the material resistance against cracking and crack propagation resistance.
The aim of the experiment, which is described in the dissertation is to verify the addition of various additives to the matrix of refractory concrete in order to increase the resistance of the refractory concrete against sudden temperature changes, suitability of particular additives and to determine the temperature range in which is the given ingredient effective.
