Abstract

The aim of thesis is to assess productivity and risk to stock market of Brazil, Russia, India, China and South Africa, known as the BRICS. Then use correlation to determine their relationship to each other and with developed stock market located in the United State of America. This thesis is divided into five chapters including the introduction and conclusion. The second chapter is focuses on the capital and stock market, their financial instruments and Investment options. In the third chapter are commonly presented BRICS country of communities and then their stock markets. The fourth chapter is devoted to appreciation of stock market BRICS according yields, risk and correlations. In the end of this chapter are criteria summarized and discussed.
