Abstract

The bachelor thesis deals with the economic evaluation of the renewal of the machine for measuring gearing in the engineering company NOVOGEAR, spol. s.r.o. The main objective of the thesis is the economic evaluation of the investment for the acquisition of a new measuring machine within its renewal, which is compared with the use of the existing measuring machine. The work is divided into two parts, theoretical and practical. The theoretical part deals with the main principles of investment decision making and methods of investment evaluation. The practical part analyses the future net income from the use of both the existing and the newly acquired measuring machine in the context of its renewal. In addition, the renewal of the existing measuring machine is evaluated in comparison with the situation under its continued use without renewal. A critical assessment of the results of this economic evaluation is then made. The practical part concludes with a proposal for a more economically advantageous solution for the use of the gear measuring machine.
